UFL ANNOUNCE A BRAND NEW TEAM IDENTITY

The UFL has this evening announced a new identity for the now defunct Thunder franchise. With a change of coaching lineup to National Championship winning duo Dale Bottomley and Andy Fraser, the new team owners have made a massive change to the identity of the team.

It is not clear why the Dragons name has been chosen by the new owners, in a short statement they merely said "We are proud to be the new coaches at the Dragons. Although we appreciate the Thunder name and the contribution by Coach Sheldon, we felt that the Dragon symbolised more the type of attractive football we plan to bring to the league. We do not fear change, we embrace it."

The UFL II Draft is in two weeks time, Saturday 3rd of June and in the meantime the Team allocations of the Franchise Players will be announced in the coming days.
